Overview
The Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016 established Community Justice Scotland (CJS) as the national organisation for promoting, monitoring, and supporting improvement in the delivery of community justice in Scotland.
CJS is here for everyone who has experience of the justice system in Scotland. Victims, people who have broken the law, practitioners and professionals working within the criminal justice system, members of the Scottish Government, policy makers, and legislators but most importantly the population of Scotland who need to be assured that the system of justice is fair, safe, and effective.
CJS’ vision We all want Scotland to be a place where we can all feel safe. That is why we need a justice system than we can rely on. We will achieve that goal through constant innovation and by collaborating closely with our partners to develop new ways of supporting people who have committed a crime, their families and the various agencies that help to break the cycle of reoffending, allowing people to make a positive contribution to society.

Main Duties
The successful candidate will support the leadership of the Community Justice Scotland, assisting in the management and developing and influencing the direction of Community justice around national priorities. The post holder will work collectively with other Senior Management in Community Justice Scotland
The post holder will create a national stakeholder engagement strategy that supports our aim and ambition around Community Justice outcomes. They will provide expert advice to the organisation and other strategic partnerships, which will require a high level of understanding and advice on how it should be interpreted to support continuous improvement and increase the community justice offer.
Managing a team to engage and understanding the national landscape on community justice, addressing need, identifying good practice, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the population, and actively disseminating the findings of a wide range of analysis conducted by the Insights and Intelligence function.

The role
Young Scot is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial and delivery-focused leader to help shape and drive a step-change in how we generate income and build partnerships.
This is a pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation with the recent appointment of a new CEO, as well launching a new organisational strategic vision. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio - ensuring we can continue to deliver meaningful impact for young people aged 11–26 across Scotland.
Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team (SLT), you will design and implement a new income generation strategy, unlocking opportunities across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, public sector funding and earned income streams. You will take an “intrapreneurial” approach - building new propositions, testing ideas and embedding a culture where income generation is seen as a shared organisational priority.
This role offers significant autonomy, creativity and influence. You will be equally comfortable setting strategic direction and personally leading high-value relationships, as you are enabling written bids and researching new partnerships.

Member Support Advisor (Strengthening Communities Programme) (maternity cover)

Development Trusts Association Scotland is looking for maternity cover for our Member Support Advisor to support our members in receipt of Strengthening Communities Programme grant funding. About the Role
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of upstream prevention to provide essential delivery and operational support, ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of the model across the six existing areas. This role is crucial for managing key relationships, governance, finance, data coordination and event management, while also offering ad hoc executive support to the leadership team.
This role will provide delivery and operational support in the implementation of Planet Youth’s prevention model in Scotland. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Prevention and local areas to support impact measurement and enhance our ability to embed prevention into systems and structures across Scotland.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and co-ordinate lead partners in their Planet Youth journey
• Manage the behind-the-scenes governance and finance requirements
• Engage and drive momentum for embedding prevention across partner areas
Planet Youth in Scotland is co-ordinated by national charity Winning Scotland, and the post holder will be employed by Winning Scotland, reporting to Head of Prevention and working with the CEO and external partners - predominantly the lead professionals in each Planet Youth area.
Following the award of ongoing funding by the Scottish Government, Planet Youth is at a pivotal point in its journey in Scotland. We want to support existing partners who work with the model to maintain momentum on their prevention journey, and to continue to develop the model and buy-in locally. This support includes the management and distribution of grant funding for local areas to build capacity for implementing the model. As well as regular communication, development and support.
You will be expected to manage a range of complex and sensitive relationships as well as contributing to the development and delivery of a programme of work spanning diverse local and national partners. You will bring clear leadership to this work, working closely with other Winning Scotland colleagues and supporting area leads.

Training and Development Co-ordinator for Child Contact Centres

The Relationships Scotland Network is the largest provider of family and relationship support in the country. We offer relationship counselling, family mediation and child contact centres through a Network of 21 Member Services across Scotland, which provide face-to-face support for around 15,000 people each year.
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking person to join our Child Contact Centre Team as the Training and Development Co-Ordinator. This role is an integral part of our National Office team and works with our Member Services and child contact centres across the Relationships Scotland Network.
Whilst this is a permanent post, we currently have funding in place for 3 years and hope to identify ongoing funding after that time.
We have an office in Edinburgh and would expect the post-holder to work from here on a Tuesday whenever possible (this is our office day). The remaining hours can be worked remotely if needed, or there is desk space at York Place if you prefer to be office-based.
