This is a key role in Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre providing specific prevention and education services for the benefit of children, young people and learners participating in further and higher education. Our prevention service is known as Rosey, which stands for Rape Crisis Offering Support and Education to Young People. The role requires a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory and equalities work and must demonstrate experience and confidence in developing, delivering, and evaluating innovative and engaging events with a range of diverse participants. The post holder will be capable in representing the service externally across agencies and representing GCRC in relevant networks, forums and working groups. Experience and understanding of working within an organisation that operates within a feminist, equalities and human rights framework is preferable for this role. Joining an already established team, this role will work to the Team Leader for the Service, whilst also being accountable for maintaining and applying the values, principles, and competences for the role to the Director of the Centre.

The Women’s Support Project (WSP) is a national organisation based in Glasgow. We aim to raise awareness of the extent and effects of violence against women and girls (VAWG), and to support those affected by this. The WSP adopts a feminist ethos and principles in all its activities. Key themes in our work are addressing unmet need and emerging issues, making links between different forms of violence and abuse, and supporting multiagency and partnership approaches, ensuring the root causes of male VAWG are addressed. The work of WSP bridges the gap between statutory and specialist services in their response to male VAWG.

Our priority areas of focus are:

• Commercial Sexual Exploitation (including women involved in selling or exchanging sex);
• Racially minoritised women’s experiences of VAWG (including FGM and ritual practices);
• Technologically facilitated harm.

The Role

The Women's Support Project is seeking an administrator to support the efficient running of the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and well organised administrator. Able to work unsupervised to a high standard. Reporting directly to the Strategic Manager, the administrator will provide administrative support to the employees of Women’s Support Project. They will support the Strategic Manager by ensuring that administrative tasks are undertaken in a timely manner.

The right candidate will have:

• Experience in an office administration role
• Experience of supporting effective meeting & event organisation
• Excellent IT skills
• Able to work unsupervised, and to work well within a small team

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre Perth & Kinross are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated worker with a proven track record of providing therapeutic support to young people affected by trauma. Providing therapeutic support, information and advocacy services, this role will involve responding to the needs of young survivors of sexual abuse and their families. The post holder will be expected to have a creative and needs-led approach throughout their practice.

Experience of delivering one to one support is essential alongside experience of assessing and responding to risk. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders is necessary as we are looking for someone who will value partnership working and is proactive in sensitively working alongside others to best meet the needs of young survivors and their families.
