Moving On Inverclyde is developing an extended-hours Harm Reduction and Stabilisation Service in partnership with Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS).
This service supports adults following a non-fatal overdose or identified high-risk alcohol or drug incident. Our focus is straightforward: safety, stabilisation, and reconnection at critical points of vulnerability.
We are seeking a Senior Harm Reduction and Stabilisation Practitioner to lead this developing service. You will provide oversight during extended hours, support proportionate risk decision-making, supervise practitioners, and ensure consistent, trauma-informed practice.
This is a non-clinical role. Clinical assessment and prescribing remain the responsibility of NHS partners.
The service operates seven days per week between 9am and 10pm. Regular evening and weekend working is essential.
We are looking for someone who:

Full UK driving licence required.
This is an opportunity to shape a new pathway within Inverclyde — strengthening safety, partnership working and recovery at moments when support matters most.
