Moving On Inverclyde is recruiting two Harm Reduction and Stabilisation Practitioners to join our developing extended-hours service, delivered in partnership with Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS).
This service provides short-term, non-clinical support to adults following a non-fatal overdose or identified high-risk alcohol or drug incident. The focus is on harm reduction, stabilisation, and engagement — helping people remain safe and reconnect with appropriate treatment and recovery services.
This is a relational role requiring sound judgement, clear boundaries, and the ability to work independently within a supportive team.
The service operates seven days per week between 9am and 10pm. Regular evening and weekend working is essential.
