Role
Borders Community Action (BCA) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Third Sector Employability Lead to strengthen employability pathways across the Scottish Borders and champion the vital role of the Third Sector in achieving positive employment outcomes.
This role will support volunteers, organisations, and partners by developing coordinated employability activity, enhancing sector capacity and promoting volunteering as a key route into employment.
The postholder will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, contribute to strategic employability planning and ensure the Third Sector’s voice and impact are recognised locally and nationally.

VASLan is the Third Sector Interface for South Lanarkshire, supporting voluntary and community organisations to be strong, sustainable and effective. We are seeking a motivated & values-driven Community Connector to empower communities to identify, scope out and implement place-based sustainable transport solutions across Clydesdale.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Engage with local communities who are experiencing rural isolation and barriers
- Identify gaps in public and community transport provision and emerging community needs
- Facilitate the co-design of locally-led, place-based solutions

About you
We’re looking for someone to join our team who can support third sector organisations in Edinburgh with guidance and advice on a range of issues including good governance and organisational development.
You will be able to identify patterns and common issues arising within the sector that indicate individual and organisational development and capacity needs and developing a suitable response to address the need. You’ll also support the development and delivery of strategic fundraising initiatives, researching funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, and contributing to long‑term income‑generation plans that strengthen EVOC’s sustainability.

DVVA are looking for a passionate and committed individual to support the development and delivery of our services, to develop and strengthen DVVA’s role as the Third Sector Interface in Dundee and to deputise for the CEO as required.
This is a unique opportunity to join and assist in the strategic leadership of DVVA as a part of our Senior Management Team Reporting directly to the CEO, the post holder will oversee the development and delivery of income generating projects including new and existing programmes. The post holder will represent DVVA on key strategic boards and strengthen and develop our partnerships throughout the third sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the voluntary sector and experience of networking between organisations and sectors. It is likely that the post holder will have an established track record in a leadership role whilst maintaining a flexible approach to their work. Fife Voluntary Action is seeking a Head of Health and Social Care who will be the strategic lead for health and social care policy and activity for FVA. You will work closely and collaboratively with statutory and third sector partners across health and social care to achieve high quality outcomes that make a positive difference in the lives of people in Fife.
In this role, you will:
- Chair Fife’s Third Sector Health and Social Care, Mental Health, and Carers Providers Forums, developing and supporting activity to enable voices to be heard in shaping service design and delivery in Fife.
- Actively identify actions to build capacity and address gaps in health and social care provision.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders at all levels to understand national and local challenges and emerging issues
- Lead a team delivering on health and social care projects, including Footcare Fife, Carer Providers Support, Befriending and Peer Support.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience of policy development and strategic/operational planning.
- Strong understanding of the voluntary sector and health and social care landscape.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills.
- Experience of line management
