We are looking for a motivated and organised project Co-ordinator to support the delivery of our essential services. The role involves supporting staff, managing the day-to-day running of the project, as well as working with clients and partner agencies, and contributing to service development and grant applications.
You will have experience working with the general public, confidence supporting colleagues, a good understanding of safeguarding and risk, and be comfortable with admin tasks, IT systems, and databases. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and an empathetic approach are essential.

Role Purpose
We are recruiting an Advice Services Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and quality of advice services across a portfolio of funded projects, working closely with the Operations Team, paid and voluntary advisers.
The post-holder will line manage a team of paid advisers, alongside supporting volunteer advisers, ensuring services are well-organised, responsive, and delivered to a consistently high standard in line with Citizens Advice requirements and funder expectations.
This is a hands-on role, combining team leadership, supervision, case checking, and project coordination. The post-holder will use their experience of the advice sector, including welfare rights, to support advisers and maintain the quality and consistency of advice across the service.

About the CARDS Service
CARDS (Community and Residential Development Service) provides one-to-one volunteer befriending and support for individuals living with long-term effects of alcohol use, many of whom are socially isolated, at risk of poor health outcomes, or living with trauma.
The service’s main goal is to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and create meaningful community connections for people who might otherwise fall through gaps in statutory services. Through trained volunteers and specialist support workers, CARDS matches clients with befrienders who provide companionship, practical support, and a safe, non-judgemental relationship.
CARDS works closely with partners in health, community and rehabilitation services to ensure a holistic approach, recognising that clients often have complex needs that require specialist input and ongoing monitoring.

Barnardo's Caern Disability Services consists of three unique Projects who deliver a variety of quality services for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have done this for over 40 years.
At the Caern Short Breaks Service, we support up to 5 children and young people aged 5-18 by offering respite and short break packages to them and their families.
Working primarily in the residential setting you will promote the happiness, safety and welfare of the young people. You will play an active role in supporting the children and young people and their families/carers to achieve positive outcomes, as identified in the Young People's Individual Support Plans.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will have experience in working directly with children and young people in a residential setting. Experience in supporting children and young people with a learning disability and/or Autism is required.
