The Manda Centre is a registered charity established to assist in relieving the mental and physical suffering and distress and support to those experiencing a high level of loss, isolation and loneliness due to Trauma, Loss & Personal Crisis.

We are looking for someone who has the best transferable skills, who can demonstrate they are flexible and adaptable enough to meet the changing needs of The Charity. Experience in working in The Third Sector or communities would be desirable. However, we will consider candidates who can show us they are a good fit for the role.

Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who will be central to the growth and sustainability of the Manda Centre - to ensure we make a real difference to the people we support.

You will lead on promoting the service provision of the Manda Centre with all our stake holders in the community.

You will also be responsible for identifying and organising a small number of fundraising opportunities over the two-year period.

With excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Management Board to shape and deliver innovative, community led initiatives.

Raise awareness of The Manda Centre’s services through events, presentations & marketing materials.

We require a versatile individual who will communicate effectively at all levels, collaborates well with others and can work independently when required

Assist with general admin and support where needed and other reasonable duties consistent with working for a small charitable organisation.

We are seeking a creative and proactive Communications Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and building meaningful connections with diverse audiences. You’ll play a key role in shaping our public presence, supporting campaigns, and strengthening internal and external communications.

Through your work, you’ll help raise awareness of the support available to individuals and communities and shine a light on the issues that affect them. Your communications will inform, inspire, and empower people; helping them navigate challenges and access the help they need.

East Ayrshire Citizens Advice Bureau (EACAB) is a progressive and innovative advice organisation dedicated to providing free, impartial, and confidential advice to local communities. We offer both generalist advice and specialist casework services to support people in need.

We are seeking 2 highly organised Outreach Officers to join the team in either our Kilmarnock or Cumnock bureau. One of these posts will be required to travel throughout East Ayrshire and the other throughout North Ayrshire.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality, accessible advice and support to individuals and communities across East Ayrshire or North Ayrshire, particularly those least likely to engage with traditional CAB services. The role will involve identifying priority communities, establishing and running regular outreach clinics, engaging directly with vulnerable groups, and providing advice and assistance focused primarily on income maximisation, benefit entitlement, and financial stability. The postholder will also support wider generalist advice needs and make referrals for complex casework when required.

A key requirement of this role is that the postholder must be able to travel independently, using their own vehicle, to multiple outreach locations as part of their duties.
