Can you help us with our ongoing mission?
At Capability Scotland, our mission is to deliver the highest quality services, tailored to the individual needs of
disabled people. We work in partnership to create innovative solutions which enable our people to achieve their
goals. We put our customers and learners at the heart of everything we do and will make sure their voices are
heard loud and clear.
We love what we do here and are looking to recruit a Care and Support Manager for our Wallace Court Service. Wallace
Court provides 24 hour residential and respite support, 7 days a week, to customers aged between 18 and 65 with
physical and learning disabilities.
Job Purpose:
Working alongside the Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the service
while helping to drive forward improvements in care quality, consistency and outcomes.
You’ll support and develop our Team Leaders, strengthen oversight of care and support, and help ensure that what we
deliver is not only safe and effective, but genuinely person-centred.
A key part of the role will be working with colleagues and professionals to ensure that people’s needs are fully
understood, clearly evidenced and appropriately supported. This is a role where you can bring people together,
build confidence in the service, and help shape how support is delivered.
Why this role is different
Wallace Court supports individuals with a high level of complexity, and there is a real opportunity to build on the
work already underway to ensure the service is as strong, consistent and responsive as it can be.
We’re investing in this role to strengthen our leadership team and create the space needed to focus on quality,
improvement and good outcomes.
You’ll be joining a supportive environment where your ideas, experience and leadership will be valued, and where
you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact.
