The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in strengthening the operational, financial and governance foundations of ThreeSixty. Working closely with the Chief Executive and Board, this role ensures the charity runs efficiently, compliantly and with confidence.

The postholder will oversee finance processes, HR coordination, governance administration and compliance systems, helping to create the structure and assurance that enables our team to deliver impactful, community-focused mental health and wellbeing support across Ayrshire.

This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery and is central to building the sustainable systems that will support ThreeSixty’s continued growth and success.

About us

Express Group Fife is a well-established mental health charity operating in Fife for almost fifty years. We provide group activities for people over 18 experiencing poor mental health. The aim of the groups is to promote positive mental wellbeing by providing a safe place for sharing experiences and peer support.

There are currently 12 groups across Fife each week, supporting about 150 individuals during the year. Every person’s story is unique, and everyone’s route home is different - it doesn’t matter what the situation is – we’re not here to judge, only to help.

As well as leading the team, the Service Manager will contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the charity, ensuring all services are delivered to a high standard.

We are seeking applications to fulfil the role of Finance Manager who have the requisite skills and CCAB Qualified. Reporting directly to the CEO the post-holder will be responsible for the production of management accounts and overseeing the day to day running of the organisational financial procedures and controls. Experience of charity accounting is essential.

FDAMH is a dynamic and respected community-based mental health charity with a team of 70 staff and volunteers operating from a modern office in central Falkirk.

From September 2026 and initially for three years

Due to the expiry of the term of office of the current Chair, COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland) needs a new Chair to provide strategic direction and governance.

As Scotland’s professional body for counselling and psychotherapy, COSCA aims to advance and support all forms of counselling, psychotherapy, and the use of counselling skills, build confidence in counselling and psychotherapy and protect the public in its use of services.

The Chair will be a facilitator, a diplomat, a communicator, a coach, a leader and a listener. The Chair will:

• attend and chair Board meetings (4 per annum)
• provide leadership and guide the members of the Board to set overall policy and targets and monitor outcomes
• understand the voluntary sector, governance of a charity, charity law and the funding of charities
• be committed to the advancement of counselling and psychotherapy and enthusiasm for COSCA’s work
• be a strategic thinker, be able to communicate well and work collaboratively with colleagues and the Chief Executive
• be willing to devote time and effort to the organisation and represent COSCA where appropriate.
