The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) is seeking a passionate, creative, and driven Fundraising Manager to play a key role in growing and diversifying the organisation’s income. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser to make a real impact — strengthening our supporter base, cultivating new relationships, and helping to ensure the future sustainability of Scottish Country Dance for generations to come.
As Fundraising Manager, you will take the lead on developing individual giving, legacies, and major donor fundraising, as well as securing grants from trusts and foundations to support our wide-ranging programmes and youth initiatives. Working closely with colleagues and volunteers, you will also act as staff liaison for the Youth Services Committee, supporting youth engagement and fundraising for youth projects.

What will you do as Fundraising Manager?
You will coordinate and manage fundraising across multiple income streams, including major donors, legacies, regular giving, trusts, and corporate support. You will also lead income generation for key projects and appeals, ensuring our fundraising products are engaging and effective. Key responsibilities include:

- Develop a Legacy funding programme to encourage and facilitate legacy gifts to the Society
- Attend annual RSCDS events. These are high profile events for the Society with the opportunity to build relationships with members.
- Build relationships with high profile and high net worth individuals as potential supporters of the organisation.
- Lead fundraising and income generation for key projects including specific fundraising appeals and the development of effective and appropriate fundraising products.
- Write funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations to secure funding for new projects and youth initiatives.
- Prepare reports and give presentations on fundraising progress to the Executive Team and the Management Board.
- Support the Youth Services Committee, acting as liaison between the committee and the staff team, attending quarterly meetings with the Committee or convenor.
- Work collaboratively with the RSCDS staff team, particularly with regards to marketing and communicating the fundraising strategy.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks or projects allocated by the Chief Operating Officer.
What does RSCDS need from you?
1. Experience:
- At least two years’ experience in a fundraising lead role, in one or more of the following areas: Major Donors, Legacies, Community Fundraising, or Trusts.
- Alternatively, two years’ experience generating income through partnerships, sponsorship, membership services, or corporate sales.
- Demonstrable success in securing income across a range of activities.
- Experience developing innovative and targeted fundraising or marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of data protection and risk management in a fundraising context.
- Experience of writing successful trust applications and engaging major donors (desirable).
- Experience using data, IT systems, and research to support fundraising growth (desirable).
- Experience delivering supporter or fundraising events (desirable).

The Senior Grants Officer will lead the Perth City Heritage Fund (PCHF) and Community Heritage Grant scheme, overseeing grant administration, project delivery, training and community engagement. You will manage and support staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest professional and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for:

- Leading the delivery of the PCHF, including grant assessment, administration, monitoring, and reporting.
- Managing a portfolio of conservation projects, including design teams, contractors, and end users, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance.

- Deliver and support traditional skills training, educational workshops, and community engagement activities.

Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is seeking a new Curator for Research to work closely with individuals and groups within our overlapping communities to devise, fundraise for, deliver and communicate exceptional experiences for sharing ideas and new work.
The Curator for Research's role is to devise and deliver programme which furthers our support for artists and helps to define the role of ESW within the visual arts sector in Scotland and internationally, and to manage and evaluate this programme within the wider context of ESW's activities and ambitions. In this interesting and varied role you will be responsible for the Trust’s heritage responsibilities, overseeing achievement of Museum Accreditation and all the work which goes into maintaining this designation of professional heritage care; the delivery and further development of an exceptional visitor experience; volunteering and educational visits. About You

- Proven experience in fundraising, particularly grant writing and/or corporate partnerships.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling, values-led proposals.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Understanding of equity, anti-racism and justice in the context of fundraising.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge).

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
