Role

We are a community-based charity focused on providing vocational training and work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, and woodworking particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. We operate across multiple sites including a dedicated wood workshop training centre and various outdoor landscaping projects.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Projects (Offsite/Workshops) & Health & Safety Co-ordinator to lead a dynamic team of supervisors and trainees in delivering a hands-on community training programme. This role involves managing day-to-day operations of a wood workshop and coordinating a variety of landscaping and environmental improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workshop management and/or manufacturing, with practical experience in hard and soft landscaping, and a passion for community development and skills training.

The Trust Projects (Offsite/Workshops) & Health & Safety Co-ordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining and promoting a safe working and training environment for staff, volunteers, and trainees. This includes managing risk across outdoor landscaping projects and a fully-equipped wood workshop, ensuring compliance with current health and safety regulations, and fostering a safety-first culture across the organisation.
