Pantry Manager / Youth Volunteer Coordinator

About Us

The team at DRC Youth Project (SCIO) have over 20 years supporting young people and their communities in North-West Glasgow. At the DRC, our mission is to empower young people to make positive choices, develop life skills, and engage meaningfully in their communities.

Through a mix of youth and employability activities, volunteering opportunities and community support programmes, including our Pantry initiative, we aim to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

This is a dual role which includes:

  • Managing the Community Pantry to ensure smooth, safe, and sustainable operations
  • Supporting and mentoring young volunteers, helping them gain skills, confidence, and pathways to employment
  • Working with the Pathfinder employability team to strengthen progression routes for young people

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about youth development and community support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in retail, food management, or similar operations
  • Experience working with young people or volunteers
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
  • Aged 25+ with a UK driving licence
