About the Role

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Finance and Administration plays a key role within NYOS. You will oversee all finance and administration processes, ensuring that our strategic objectives and operational delivery models are founded on sound financial planning and controls; that our systems are effective and robust; and that our people are well supported. The post holder currently manages a Digital Applications Apprentice, who supports finance and administration functions, and an Executive Assistant who supports the Chief Executive.

Reading Schools is an accreditation programme, designed to celebrate schools who are building and sustain a reading for pleasure culture for their learners, staff and families. Reading Schools Early Years is the continuation of a pilot project being delivered in three local authority areas, Glasgow, Renfrewshire and Angus in Early Years settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to support Scottish Book Trust as Reading Schools Early Years Project Manager. The position offers flexible full time working within our School Communities Team. We are looking for someone to start on this fixed term contract as soon as possible.

The Reading Schools Early Years Project Manager (RS EY Project Manager) will work closely with the SC Manager (Reading Schools) and Reading Schools team to lead on the development and delivery of Reading Schools Early Years (RS-EY) project to 45 settings across three Local Authorities. They will be responsible for managing relationships with individual settings to support participation in phase 2 of this pilot project. They will also be responsible for managing and maintaining key relationships with colleagues within each of the designated Local Authorities.

All or Nothing is seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Officer to support the development and promotion of All or Nothing across our activities.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative marketing professional to contribute to the company’s success and development, working across all of our strands to devise, plan and implement marketing campaigns that bring All or Nothing’s work to life.

We’re looking for someone that can help to raise the profile of All or Nothing by capturing our work through striking visual communication and creative content that will engage with new audiences and develop our connections across the cultural sector and beyond.

About You

You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a professional marketing and communications role, with experience devising and delivering successful marketing campaigns across a range of digital platforms. You’ll be adept at all aspects of e-marketing, including the professional use of social media and email marketing services, creating compelling digital assets, and image and video editing. You’ll be confident with a range of digital tools and systems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Importantly, you can work proactively and collaboratively in a small team and also have the ability to work independently to manage workload and priorities. You’ll have an understanding of and commitment to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and be excited about joining a small arts organisation to help us develop and thrive.

About Us

All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre are Scotland’s leading aerial dance company creating, performing, teaching and developing aerial arts throughout the country. Our work crosses the boundaries between the floor, air and the space between, merging aerial arts with dance theatre and contemporary circus.

With performances ranging from small scale theatre to large scale outdoor spectacle, we tour extensively across Scotland, creating our own theatrical works for touring as well as developing aerial elements for events.

Participation is vital to the company’s work; we believe that aerial and dance is for everyone and we develop all kinds of opportunities for this to happen. All or Nothing constantly challenge assumptions of who can do aerial, opening up the artform to as many people as possible, developing audiences and participants.

We are now entering the next phase of company development, having recently secured long-term core funding through Creative Scotland’s multi-year funding. We have an exciting few years ahead, developing and growing our creative work and our audiences and participants, and creating opportunities for aerial artists in Scotland including establishing Scotland’s first aerial performance ensemble. The Marketing Officer will join the organisation at an exciting time and will have the opportunity to shape and enhance our digital presence, voice and audience reach.
