We need a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and understanding of early years in Scotland. We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our community engagement work which ensures the Bookbug Programme runs effectively with maximum impact across Scotland.

This role manages the Early Years community engagement team and contributes to strategic development of the wider Bookbug programme, and advocacy of the programme at local and national level.

The role engages with all 32 local authorities and manages relationships with partner organisations. Candidates should have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong community-based networks with key stakeholders.

This position requires strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strong understanding of the early years landscape, policies and practice in Scotland. The post holder will have responsibility for analysing and evidencing impact of public Bookbug Sessions, and targeted work with families supported by Bookbug for the Home.
