Role

The Admin Officer at BEMIS Scotland provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. A key responsibility is maintaining accurate financial records, including processing invoices, managing petty cash, and supporting budgeting processes. The Admin Officer also plays a vital role in coordinating events, handling logistics such as venue bookings, participant communications, and materials preparation.

Supporting internal HR functions, the role includes maintaining up-to-date staff records relating to annual leave, absences, and other statutory obligations in line with employment regulations. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Admin Officer prepares meeting agendas, takes accurate minutes, and ensures relevant documentation is distributed and archived appropriately. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

As a central point of contact, the Admin Officer contributes to the effective delivery of BEMIS Scotland’s mission to support equality and inclusion across Scotland’s diverse communities.
