The Role
We are seeking a visionary and driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead We Play Together SCIO into its next phase of growth and development. The CEO will be responsible for ensuring sporting success, delivering a robust Social Impact plan, growing financial reserves, and driving the organisation’s strategic expansion. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and community-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
1.Financial Leadership and Sustainability
- Develop and oversee annual budgets to grow financial reserves per annum.
- Strategise revenue generation and cost management to deliver surplus income.
2.Sporting and Social Impact
- Work closely with the Club Manager to support club growth and sporting success.
- Define, implement, and report on a measurable Social Impact plan to benefit the community.
3.Centre and Facilities Management
- Improve the condition and increase the usage of the Centre.
- Lead an Expansion Sub-Group to secure long-term access to a second Centre or facility.
4.Governance and Leadership
- Develop and coordinate Trustee Board governance and Sub-Group activities.
- Lead and support the Club Manager and Centre Manager to achieve key goals.
5.Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
- Build strong relationships with funding partners, sponsors, schools, and community groups.
- Engage with Trustees, Sub-Group participants, and other key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience in a sports organisation, charity, or social enterprise.
- Expertise in financial planning, budget management, and delivering financial sustainability.
- Success in developing and implementing social impact initiatives.
- Wide and deep understanding of basketball in Scotland
- Experience in facilities management and increasing community space usage.
- A track record in securing funding, grants, or sponsorship.
- Familiarity with working alongside and reporting to a Trustee Board.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to deliver surplus income.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and strategic planning skills.
- Project management skills, particularly in facility expansion
- Understanding of the social impact sector and outcome management
- Demonstrable leadership skills in a basketball environment
- Knowledge of governance and supporting a Board of Trustees.
- Experience in revenue generation strategies for community organisations.

What We Offer
- Hybrid Working for Flexibility: Full time working in and from the Crags Centre is available, though work from home 1-2 days a week, perhaps after an appropriate bedding in period, would also be a possibility.
- Competitive Compensation: A salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting your skills and experience.
- Balanced Hours with Flexibility: A standard 37.5 hour working week (9:00 am – 5:30 pm). While flexibility is required for occasional evening meetings, we’re open to discussing a 0.8 FTE arrangement for the right candidate.

The Relationships Scotland Network is the largest provider of family and relationship support in the country. We offer relationship counselling, family mediation and child contact centres through a network of 21 member services across Scotland, which provide face-to-face support to around 15,000 people each year.
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking person to join our Corporate Management Team as Head of Corporate Services. The role is based in our national office in Edinburgh, and will involve a wide range of tasks including managing budgets and finances, overseeing HR processes, and being responsible for building management, including health & safety.
Although the role is office based, we are open to discussing flexible working hours, in particular if shorter working days are needed to fit in with school hours etc. All staff work in the office on Tuesdays when possible.

Scotland’s membership organisation and sector support body for the performing arts is looking for a new Chief Executive Officer. We are seeking a visionary and collaborative individual to lead FSTas our new CEO. You will be passionate about the transformational power of the arts and will be keen to play a significant role in futureproofing and promoting Scotland’s performing arts sector with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be an experienced communicator and someone who can make a compelling case for the impact of the arts and its importance to the world today. The CEO is responsible for:
- Developing and leading the strategic, financial and operational delivery of FST’s work across advocacy, strategy, and sector support.
- Ensuring the needs and priorities of the Scottish performing arts sector are effectively conveyed to decision-makers, policy developers and legislators in Scotland and across the UK.
- Raising the profile of Scottish performing arts through lobbying, increasing awareness and access.
- Leading the team and overseeing the delivery of our programmes which develop best practice and increase the potential of performing arts in Scotland.
- Developing and managing strategic relationships to support the sector within and beyond FST’s membership and across the wider public realm in Scotland, the UK, and internationally.
Grangemouth Community Sports Trust is looking to appoint up to five Trustees to join the Board.
Who are we?
Grangemouth Community Sports Trust is a new charity (a SCIO) set up to manage Grangemouth Stadium for community benefit.
Grangemouth Stadium is central Scotland’s premier athletics training and competition facility and hosts a large number of regional, national and international events, squad training days and coaching conferences. It has been the home of many Olympic and Commonwealth squad teams for training and boasts the relocated Hampden track from the 2014 Commonwealth Games. It is home to Falkirk Victoria Harriers and Forth Valley Flyers and is of huge importance to the local community. The Trust seeks to widen and diversify the use of the facilities to secure its future and create a health and wellbeing hub for the local community.

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) has been connecting people around the world through the joy of Scottish Country Dancing for over 100 years. With a vibrant global membership, the RSCDS promotes health, friendship, and culture by inspiring people of all ages to dance.
RSCDS events — from the flagship Summer School in St Andrews to the popular Winter School in Pitlochry — bring together hundreds of dancers and musicians from around the world. These events are key moments in the Scottish cultural calendar and vital to the organisation’s financial sustainability.
As part of an exciting period of development, RSCDS is now looking for an Events & Marketing Manager to lead on the planning and delivery of major events, drive marketing and social media activity, and promote Scottish Country Dancing to new and existing audiences.
This is a unique opportunity for a creative and organised professional to take centre stage, both behind the scenes and at events. You will lead on all aspects of event delivery — from venue management and contract negotiation to on-site hosting — as well as oversee digital communications and social media campaigns. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will also line manage the Graphic Design and Website Officer and work closely with volunteers, members, teachers, and performers.
The successful candidate will have experience in event management and marketing, with strong social media and communication skills. You’ll need to be outgoing, approachable, and confident in representing RSCDS in person and online. While knowledge of Scottish Country Dancing is not essential, an enthusiasm for its community spirit is important.
This is a role full of variety and challenge, with occasional evening and weekend work, as well as three weeks’ residential attendance at Summer School and one week at Winter School. In return, RSCDS offers the chance to work with a passionate team, travel to unique events, and play a key role in shaping the future of a much-loved cultural organisation.
