LCIL is a person-led organisation providing a range of services that enable Disabled People to live independently in the community of their choice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and help shape and develop our work with disabled people across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

We do this in part through our advice and information services:

• Our Independent Living Service provides independent advice and information as well as support to disabled people, their carers, and families on all aspects of Self-Directed Support. This service covers all of Edinburgh and the Lothians.
• Our Disability Advice and Information Service provides specialist advice and information to empower disabled people across Edinburgh and the Lothians, to understand and access their rights and welfare benefits entitlements.

We’re looking for a Service Manager to support our advice and information services, providing day-to-day leadership and support to both services, ensuring strategic and operational goals are successfully met.

Service Manager role:

• The post holder will manage a team and oversee the delivery of advice and information services.
• Implement strong monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Promote and represent LCiL at relevant networks and events.

Junction 12 is a youth project based in the east end of Glasgow which strives to build long term relationships that support young people through the challenges of growing up. We have identified a gap for an effective male role model to further our work with teenage boys to enable them to live lives characterised by safe and healthy choices, while introducing them to the difference Jesus makes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and pastorally sensitive Christian with experience of working with young people in a school and/or community context. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work in a team and with other organisations.

It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act – part 1, schedule 9), that the post holder is male and a committed Christian. PVG Scheme Disclosure and Full Driving Licence are required.

Housing Support Fife is a service providing housing support in the Levenmouth, Glenrothes and North East Fife area. Bethany Christian Trust is looking for a support worker to be part of this team. The successful post holder will work as part of a team delivering flexible and creative support to vulnerable people to meet their housing needs and help them maintain their tenancies.

You will have a proven record as a team player with excellent communication skills; you will have experience and knowledge of the service user group and their surrounding issues. We would welcome applicants with lived experience of these issues. Competence in the use of Microsoft office tools is essential. An SVQ 3 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a ‘Housing Practitioner’ is desirable; the willingness to work towards this is essential.
