We are seeking applications from individuals with demonstrable high volume administrative work experience within a complex organisation and who possess the skills to take on the tasks outlined in the job description.

The role is a transactional role with a primary focus on our voluntary income strands. The role will have involvement in supporting the ongoing processing of incoming donations from various income channels to our Fundraising CRM Raisers Edge, issuing acknowledgment correspondence and being the first point of contact for phone calls from various supporters and stakeholders therefore strong customer service skills are essential.

You will be a strong communicator and able to balance competing priorities. You will have experience of working with a wide range of office systems including Microsoft 365 and databases or financial systems.

We have an exciting leadership opportunity to join the Midlothian Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team as a Development Worker.

Midlothian Access Point is dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of individuals aged 18 to 65 who are registered with a GP in Midlothian. We provide a range of services including information, advice, referrals, and support to help our clients access the resources they need.

Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering individual assessments for the Midlothian Access Point. You will be required to deliver a set amount of individual assessments each week either in person, telephone or online.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for facilitating, developing, and delivering Guided Self Help sessions.

Guided Self-Help is a one-to-one support service that guides people to access self-help materials. Sessions are delivered in person, online or over the phone. The service is based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) and is for anyone aged 18 and over experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression, stress or sleep problems.

To support adults (18+) across Midlothian who are experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress and/ or sleep problems.

To support people to self-manage their mental health and wellbeing using a range of interventions including Guided Self Help

To provide individualised and trauma-informed support by telephone, online and in person

They will work collaboratively with communities to provide tailored support, review training feedback, connect individuals to appropriate resources, and maintain a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to meet the needs of vulnerable groups.

We are looking for a Community Connexions Outreach Worker for the Fife area. You will be involved in supporting people living with dementia to establish personal goals and outcomes and help them to achieve these. The Outreach service is a short-term intervention and support service offering guidance and assistance to people living with dementia and their carers to help live life to the full and as independently as possible. This may involve helping to reduce social isolation, building confidence in using public transport, engaging with the local community and much more!

What you’ll have

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and able to deal with a number of enquiries and partnerships driven from the community and external partners. You’ll be a fantastic communicator who is listens effectively to our service users and provides clear, concise and detailed advice to a varied audience. A positive leadership approach is key to ensuring the running of this service.
