About Us:

Achievement Bute is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) based on the beautiful Isle of Bute. Our mission is to:

  • Support and encourage all children, regardless of background and ability, to enjoy themselves and achieve things they may not have otherwise done.
  • Provide support to children and young people with disabilities and their families living on the Isle of Bute.
  • Offer activities that are accessible to ALL children and young people on the island.

We offer a wide range of inclusive arts and play activities, including out-of-school clubs, youth groups, themed play weeks, multi-media performance projects, and outdoor activities. Our services also include a dedicated Family Support Service (registered with the Care Inspectorate), a Youth Volunteering Programme, and a Confidential Counselling Service. The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director to lead our organisation. The Director will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and strategic direction.
  • Ensuring the charity’s impact, development, management, and sustainability.
  • Overseeing the delivery of our diverse range of services and activities.
