Aims to address issues, concerns, needs, aspirations which relate to the social, economic, physical, environmental health, well-being, and regeneration of our communities. Relieve poverty, advance education, address exclusion, and disadvantage.

We have a wide range groups & projects: Anti-Poverty Projects, Communication & Engagement, Range Community-Based Projects (Social Prescribing Model) education, skills development, advice, information, support, services, and volunteer led opportunities. We employ 4 full time members of staff, 5 part time.

We have conducted several community consultations and research projects since the Trust was established in 2006. This has allowed us to gather and disseminate essential information within our communities. This helps us to formulate community led, community driven responses to local issues and needs. We have further developed our services and resources to confront and address the lasting consequences and effects of the Pandemic, and the cost-of-living crisis.

It is through our community development work, our community consultations, and experience of working within the local community that we have identified the need for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Project.

We are now recruiting for four new fixed term till 31 March 2028 roles: a full-time Team Leader role, a full-time Community Project Designer role and two part-time Community Project Designer roles. This is an excellent opportunity for people with relevant skills and experience to join a friendly, hardworking, passionate team keen to make a difference alongside our communities.

Working in the Kirkcaldy Area the postholders will deliver the ’Every One Every Day’ programme. You’ll help to develop ideas brought to you by residents and grow a network of people, projects and spaces which support people to participate. You will use co-production tools and co-creation to ensure everything that happens is led by local people, makes use of their skills and aspirations, and helps to build community. You’ll create welcoming spaces for people to develop and deliver project ideas, as well as a series of makerspaces.

The role will require people who understand participatory culture and approaches, and are excited about encouraging people to develop their ideas. You’ll have practical skills that can support projects (like cooking, crafting, making, mending or artistic skills). You’ll need excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills, excellent organisational skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You’ll also have a commitment to Corra’s ‘ways of working’ principles and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We are seeking a detailed and proactive Finance Officer to work with us to provide comprehensive bookkeeping services for new and developing purpose-led enterprises.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate recording of orders and invoices, and facilitate timely payments.

• Manage banking services and generate reports to prevent bank fraud.

• Protect operational assets, including cash handling, through robust internal controls and auditing.

• Generate timely income invoices and ensure prompt payment follow-up.

• Maintain accurate accounting records in Xero, supported by referenced digital documentation.

• Ensure proper authorisation and payment of expenses.

• Manage payroll systems for accurate and timely staff payments.

• Prepare monthly budget and forecasting reports.

• Oversee cash-flow management.

• Generate financial reports as needed.

• Prepare annual accounting information.

• Assist with ad-hoc finance queries.

Skills, Experience, and Personal Qualities

Essential:

• University degree or equivalent experience.

• Strong numeracy skills (Higher Mathematics/GCSE Mathematics or equivalent).

• 5+ years of experience in an office environment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Desirable:

• Experience with Xero accounting software or similar platforms.

• Working towards a book-keeping or accounting qualification.
