MELD is a community-based substance use agency providing recovery services in Midlothian and East Lothian.
Are you looking for a satisfying role in a recovery focussed organisation which offers a competitive Salary Structure and an Incremental Scale? Do you want to work in a positive working environment and be part of a dynamic and vibrant team? MELD offers a whole range of benefits including professional supervision, development and training and a generous annual leave allowance, plus your birthday off.
MELD is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our peer team. We are recruiting people who are committed to providing high quality services for individuals with substance use issues, who can work effectively as part of a dynamic team and in partnership with statutory services.
The Post Holder (ELRHPSW) will provide and promote peer support and recovery services to people recovering from their problematic use of alcohol and drugs. This will be achieved by supporting people in the different phases of their recovery from initial engagement with services and the recovery community through to options for education, training, volunteering and employment.
The closing date is Friday 7th February 2025.
