About us

Patchwork Recovery Community provides a safe space for people in recovery from problematic substance use where they can access a range of opportunities including, peer support, training, education, crisis support, volunteering and opportunities to socialise.

Our values-led and relationship-based services support people excluded from family, home, work, and/or communities.

Our organisation is very much led by those in recovery from active addiction however our organisation boasts a healthy mix of volunteers from all walks of life who bring a range of experience, opportunities and expertise to our organisation.

As need for our services has grown, so have we, and we’re looking for new trustees to contribute to our vision and develop our next five-year plan.

About the role

Our Board of Trustees are volunteers responsible for overseeing our governance, setting our strategy, and ensuring that we’re accountable and administered effectively.

We currently hold 2-hour Board meetings every six weeks, which we would prefer you join in person however provision can be made to join meetings online. You will also have the opportunity to attend further internal and external events for learning and connection.
