About NYOS
For over 40 years, the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland (NYOS) have supported Scotland’s outstanding young
musicians through a dynamic programme of residential training courses, national and international concert tours
with leading soloists and conductors, and projects for a wide range of abilities in communities throughout the
country.
NYOS are working towards a vision of a Scotland where all communities in Scotland have access to world-class ensemble
youth music-making and are able to share in its social, personal and cultural benefits.
