This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of systems and applications, providing expert support across networks, servers, cloud services, desktops, and more. You’ll also play a vital part in delivering our Managed IT service for the voluntary sector, offering remote and on-site support to our partners.

Your expertise and strong communication skills will be crucial in delivering technical assistance while maintaining a customer-focused approach that aligns with our values and service standards.

About you

We’re looking for someone to join our team with a strong belief in equality, human rights and social justice. You will have an understanding of the experiences, strengths and challenges faced by refugees, people seeking asylum, and other New Scots communities, and the motivation to support the development of the New Scots Edinburgh Refugee Integration Strategy, working closely with key stakeholders and statutory partners.

You will also work with colleagues to produce responses to public consultations and policy proposals from statutory partners in partnership with key third sector stakeholders.

VANL Consortium Lead (Covering the east sector- Airdrie, Coatbridge and The North)

The purpose of this role is to lead on three local networks made up of Community and Voluntary Sector organisations and statutory partners to support communities in meeting local needs through both collaboration and distribution of the Locality Activity Fund. These networks being known as local Consortia which operate across North Lanarkshire and support allocation of the Locality Activity Fund.

VANL Consortium Lead (Covering the west sector- Motherwell, Bellshill, Wishaw, and Shotts)

The purpose of this role is to lead on three local networks made up of Community and Voluntary Sector organisations and statutory partners to support communities in meeting local needs through both collaboration and distribution of the Locality Activity Fund. These networks being known as local Consortia which operate across North Lanarkshire and support allocation of the Locality Activity Fund.
