About the Role:
You will be someone with the right values to support people and families to thrive in life and in their community This is a family service. Supporting parents and single persons. However, an element of child protection knowledge is preferable due to there being children accommodated with their parents. To compliment an existing staff team in the delivery of person-centred support to service users who are experiencing a period of homelessness. Liaising with stakeholders and other agencies in relation to the support delivery Administrative duties – ability to use computerised administrative systems with attention to detail is a must Recording and auditing Support intervention as required Specific nightshift tasks Health/Fire Safety checks and regulations met / implemented Building security and reporting and client welfare checks Attending staff meetings / ongoing training Lone working role
Main Responsibilities:
This Support Worker role working at East Kilbride involves working on a rota covering night shifts. This role involves working 33.25 hours per week ( 8 week rolling rota – 4 nights on and 4 nights off continuously) Length of shifts: 9.5hrs From:9:45pm-7:15am
