If this sounds like you, we think you might be our next Locality Development Officer.

We are looking for a passionate community advocate who can get to know the third sector across their area, provide the necessary advice and support and can connect with communities and encourage involvement. The successful candidate will enjoy building new connections and relationships, be resourceful and apply problem solving skills and make links across the sector and with partners for improved collaboration. There will also be lots of working across different teams and with other Locality Development Officers to maximise our effectiveness across Dumfries & Galloway.

With a new prospectus and increased investment, we are now looking to our future and delivery on our big ambitions; A strong third sector; Maximising impact through great partnership working; Securing equity, dignity, belonging and justice.
