Finance Manager

Role

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join Corra Foundation’s Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of Corra’s long term finance strategy, as well as supporting, managing and training the wider finance team.

Working across Corra with the Head of Finance the postholder will have a detailed knowledge of charity accounting principles, and a track record of successfully leading and managing a finance team. The successful applicant will have strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking. You will have a proficiency in accounting software and be able to evidence successful production of annual accounts and monthly reporting, ensuring monitoring delivery against budgets.

Ideally, you will have practical experience of project accounting, restricted funds and grant-making activities.

Additionally, you should have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and experience of explaining complex financial information to other operational colleagues, and non-finance managers.

You should have experience of working in the charitable sector and handling charitable accounts, as well as having a high level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

As with other Corra staff, there will be the requirement to be flexible and to provide support for other aspects of Corra business as and when required.
