Role

The role of the Programme Assistant is to provide comprehensive administration support to programmes in Scotland.

To provide a welcoming point of contact for the CRT’s programmes of activity; handling enquiries whilst ensuring service standards are met.

To undertake all necessary administrative tasks to support management, staff and programme activity including: maintaining accurate records to meet audit requirements; researching and collating information; undertaking the processing and handling of data to support reporting processes, assisting in the planning and delivery of events and supporting the promotion of CRT programmes in Scotland, as required.

To contribute towards the delivery of the CRT’s strategy, the Scotland’s Delivery Plan and programme objectives.

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is the only organisation with a sole focus on building prosperity and opportunity in former coalfield communities across England, Scotland and Wales. We do this through our charitable programmes based on removing people’s health, wellbeing and skills barriers while also delivering programmes which benefit the wider community.

Our work in England is funded through building industrial starter units for SMEs through our property arm CRT Property with the rental income re-invested into our charitable programmes. Our work in Scotland is funded through a grant from the Scottish Government. Our work in Wales is funded through a grant from the Welsh Government.
