We are looking for a dynamic leader with an Education background to manage and deliver our School Communities Learning and Training offer.

You will lead on the development and delivery of the training work carried out in schools which supports the impact and effectiveness of our School Communities programmes.

The role leads on professional training, developing teaching resources and works closely with the other School Communities Managers to ensure integrated delivery of the programmes.

To support your work you will also have people management responsibility for the Learning and Training team and ensure resources across the wider School Communities Programme are complementary and effective.

The School Communities team delivers a range of programmes that inspire schools, learning professionals, children and young people to engage with reading and writing. Key programmes include Reading Schools, Read Write Count with the First Minister and Authors Live.
