About us
The Christian Aid Scotland team works holistically with churches, volunteers, campaigners, and schools to build a movement for justice. We resource local congregations and our sponsoring denominations through worship materials, speaking engagements, and face to face visits. We steward supporters to fundraise and campaign for our work. Together, we want to see a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.
Within the Scotland team, the Church Engagement and Community Fundraising unit looks after the churches and volunteers who support our work, from the local congregation through to our partnering national denominations. We work collaboratively with the Advocacy, Campaigning, Education and Youth unit to deliver a dynamic programme of events and supporter stewardship across Scotland.
We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and recognise the value this brings in forming strong, creative and high performing teams. We welcome applications from all sections of the community, and from those with experience from outside of the voluntary sector.
And no, you don’t have to be Christian to work here – we encourage people of all faiths and none to apply. We just ask that everyone lives out our values of dignity, equality, justice and love.
