Role

As a Team Leader at Forth Valley Advocacy you will join us at an exciting time in our development as we continue to deliver a recently extended contract for Independent Advocacy services in the Forth Valley area, currently extended until October 2024 with the possibility of extension to October 2025. This is a crucial post which will allow Forth Valley Advocacy to continue to provide high quality and person led Independent Advocacy services across the Forth Valley area.

As Team Leader, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will manage a team of energetic and enthusiastic Advocacy Workers whilst possibly carrying a very small caseload of Advocacy Partners. As Duty Worker you will respond to telephone enquiries, screening potential online referrals, and allocating referrals to the advocacy team. You will build strong partnerships with our referrers including colleagues in the NHS and Local Authorities. You will be an experienced independent advocacy practitioner with the ability to manage yourself and others effectively.

You will bring enthusiasm and leadership skills to the organisation during this exciting period of growth.

At present our office base is in Falkirk but hybrid working arrangements are in place, allowing for some working from home.
