Role

Responsible to: Director of Fundraising and Partnerships

This new role is key to delivering and developing Social Bite’s UK-wide corporate partnerships, whose support is at the heart of our social impact in communities nationwide. You will work directly with companies in food, hospitality, finance and retail to maximise their support and demonstrate the difference they’re making. As part of this, you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders (including charity partners) on the allocation of funds raised, and gathering information to produce partner impact reports. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to bring your relationship management skills to the growth of a ground-breaking organisation as we take the next steps towards our vision of a society where no one should have to be homeless.

We’re looking for someone who is skilled in managing relationships, highly collaborative and passionate about bringing projects to life. You will have a track history of partnership working and thrive in a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy:

  • Building excellent relationships – working with colleagues, corporate partners and charity partners to deliver meaningful and positive partnerships.
  • Demonstrating impact – producing engaging reports, plus more creative ways including videos and site visits.
  • Making a difference – each corporate partnership provides significant funds and awareness, creating tangible results and long-term change in the mission to end homelessness.
  • Making it happen – being part of a team and an organisation who are solutions-focussed with a can-do attitude to deliver pioneering projects and innovative campaigns.

This position will report into and work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Partnerships, as part of the wider Fundraising and Marcomms team. You will also liaise regularly with our co-Founder, Finance team and Social Impact team.

About Social Bite

Our vision is a society where no one should have to be homeless.

We are a charity and social business providing homes, jobs, food, and support to empower people to transform their own lives.

We are a catalyst for change. We challenge the status quo with innovative, scalable solutions that create lasting impact. Each of our pioneering projects support people to break the cycle of homelessness, whether that starts with a free meal, supported employment, or a safe place to call home.

We began as a small sandwich shop in Edinburgh in 2012, offering jobs and free food to people affected by homelessness. We’re now expanding our projects across the UK, on a collaborative mission – a movement to end homelessness.

Our growing projects include Social Bite Villages, the Jobs First programme, and social business coffee shops in Scotland and London. Our national and global campaigns have shifted the cultural dial on homelessness and our work has been championed by George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir Chris Hoy and the Princess of Wales. A number of our team have been homeless themselves.

Thank you for your interest in this role! We’d love you to apply.
