In this interesting and varied role you will be responsible for the Trust’s heritage responsibilities, overseeing achievement of Museum Accreditation and all the work which goes into maintaining this designation of professional heritage care; the delivery and further development of an exceptional visitor experience; volunteering and educational visits. Overseeing a team of five, and working closely with the fundraising team to achieve your objectives, you will be a key member of our management team and will advise trustees on all heritage and community matters. First Step is a community-based organisation working directly with families and young children in the early years. We support parents to build confidence, strengthen relationships and create a nurturing environment for their children. We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Fundraising Officer, who will be central to the growth and sustainability of First Step’s work. You will lead on securing funding and developing new projects that respond to the needs of families with young children.

With excellent communication skills, you will work closely with the Project Manager and the Strategic Board to shape and deliver innovative, community led initiatives that make a real difference to the lives of children and their families. This includes identifying funding opportunities, writing compelling bids and building strong relationships with funders and partners.

Using your creativity, you will also be responsible for raising awareness of First Step’s services through events, presentations, marketing materials, and managing social media and website content. We’re looking for a versatile individual who communicates effectively at all levels, writes clearly, collaborates well with others, and can work independently when needed.

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator- Maternity Cover post to run the day to day operation functions for Tripod Training.

Operations Coordinator (Maternity Leave Cover): This role will involve coordinating the day-to-day management of the organisation, including arranging and facilitating operational and internal processing meetings, peer-to-peer supervision sessions, managing payroll and invoicing, managing organisational budgets and forecasting, co-writing funding reports, liaising with the board and funders, managing office and health & safety compliance needs, and monitoring compliance with official bodies: Companies House and HMRC.

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our community health support services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.

The role of the Stroke Nurse is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital back into the community, for people who have had a stroke and their families.

The Stroke Nurse helps them adjust to the changes associated with the stroke, through the provision of information, advice and support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is organised and motivated, with good communication skills. Candidates must have a first level general nursing qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience in either a hospital or community setting. Experience working with people affected by stroke is desirable.
