Main responsibilities:

To support the Community Services Manager in delivering the Criminal Justice Outreach and Housing Support Services through the management of staff and in holding a small caseload of service users who are at high risk of causing harm and/or offending behaviours. The Team Leader will provide support and guidance to the teams to enable them to:

achieve positive outcomes, delivering person-centred care and support on an intensive basis to reduce offending behaviour, support and manage the re-integration of service users into society, develop pro-social connections, develop coping strategies to improve health and wellbeing, develop life skills to enable them to sustain their tenancy.

The Team Leader will carry out inductions and mentoring of staff, supervise support practitioners and deputising on behalf of management as required with responsibilities such as directly supervising support practitioners and attending multi-agency meetings and working closely with the Criminal Justice Social Work (CJSW) Team.

Required qualifications: SVQ 4 or equivalent experience to demonstrate management experience

SSSC registration level: Supervisor
