We are looking for enthusiastic people with varying levels of skills and experience to join Young Scot – the national youth information and citizenship charity for 11-26-year-olds in Scotland. We provide information, ideas and opportunities for young people, helping them to make informed decisions and choices, connecting them to opportunities locally, nationally and globally and empowering them to create and drive positive change.
Our Smart Services Assistant will play a key role in building and expanding on the highly successful outcomes of the #YSAttain ‘Attainment Challenge: National Strategic Partnership’ between the Scottish Government, Young Scot, Local Authorities and others to continue to tackle poverty, improve attainment and have a positive impact on health and wellbeing of young people in a non-stigmatising way. This role will also enhance Young Scot’s Membership Services Platform, home to Young Scot Discounts, Activities, Rewards and Additional Entitlements, co-ordinating the effective use of Young Scot Services to tackle inequalities and improve attainment.

Our journey to becoming an Anti-Racist Ally
At Young Scot, we’re working hard to become an explicitly Anti-Racist organisation. We are doing this by taking a close look at our organisation and identifying what it is we do that contributes to structural racism. As part of this work, we’ve reviewed our recruitment processes and made several changes. You can read more about this important work on our website.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. This will help us to ensure that our staff team represents the young people in Scotland that we serve. We particularly welcome applications from Black people and people of color, and disabled people – all of whom are currently under-represented at Young Scot
