RAMH Housing Support Services provide support to individuals, with mental health issues, to maintain their home and community life, either within a 24 hour supported tenancy or their own homes across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic staff member who is interested in supporting and leading a team within one of our Housing Support Services, in East Renfrewshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership role, while being supported by a stable and robust team. RAMH have an excellent reputation for delivering quality person centred services that focus on recovery outcomes and has received “excellent” grading, for care and support over the last 4 years from the Care Inspectorate.
You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and you will be required to support junior staff to understand and achieve outcomes and manage risks. Excellent flexibility in working hours is essential as evenings, weekends and sleep-overs are required. You will have a dedicated area of work with a staff team providing individuals support packages to a wide range of people.
In return, RAMH will provide regular training and development, supervision and the opportunity for you to contribute to a large motivated team and help develop quality services.

RAMH are developing their Housing Support Services and are looking for innovative and enthusiastic Recovery Support Workers, to provide consistent support to our service users.
We provide support to individuals to maintain and develop their home and community life. Support is provided to individuals in their own home or 24 hour supported tenancies.
You must enjoy working with people and be committed to helping them achieve their personal outcomes. RAMH have an excellent reputation for delivering quality person centred services that focus on recovery outcomes.
You will need to be a good team worker with good written and verbal communication skills as you will be required to record the outcomes you achieve with individuals on a daily basis. Excellent flexibility in working hours is essential, as evening, weekends and sleepovers are required.

You First Advocacy provide an independent professional advocacy service to a wide range of vulnerable adults in Renfrewshire, who require short-term advocacy to address specific issues arising from health, community care or legal interventions. The service is provided by paid staff and trained volunteers.

This fixed-term post (12 months) will contribute effectively to the You First Advocacy Service and will do so, by providing dedicated advocacy support for people affected by drug or alcohol use, as part of YFA’s operational team.
- The post holder will be required to clearly show an understanding of the concept of advocacy for people affected by drug or alcohol use and associated issues.
- An awareness of individual rights, objectivity and empathy will be required.
- A mature ability to challenge individuals/organisations on behalf of the service user, without recourse to confrontation is essential.
This is an exciting and challenging post for a person who supports social justice and the rights of vulnerable individuals. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience of Addictions, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and other generic client groups. A knowledge of advocacy is also essential. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.

The function of this post is to provide leadership to our organisations core support functions, and to ensure compliance with external regulatory and contractual bodies. This is set within a framework of agreed standards RAMH currently adheres to.
If successful, you will work closely with the CEO and provide support and guidance to local managers to ensure that their service, and by association, the organisation, conforms to our values, vision and mission statement. You will take a lead role, supported by Senior Management Team colleagues, to embed and exemplify a culture and ethos of leadership associated with RAMH, across your areas of work. You are required to be flexible in response to the development of this role, and to the demands and expectations of the environment RAMH operates in.
You will have experience of Social Care at a senior leadership level. You will also be educated to a degree level,
preferably in an area relevant to this post (Business, Finance, HR, Quality/Risk etc.) or hold a professional Health/Social Care qualification.
