The service
Islington Better lives is an established, integrated community service delivered across several sites in the Borough. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial elements and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox, group programme as well as having family and carers and service user involvement provision.
The role
The Recovery support worker will primarily be based at our King Henry’s Walk site supporting aftercare activities such as; Peer Mentoring, Groups and Service user Involvement/ Co-production
The successful candidate must be caring, committed, hardworking and highly motivated, and have experience of working with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing
Conditions
• Salary band of £24,627 - £29,000 per annum
• Permanent contract
• 37.5 hours per week
