Our mission is to make a difference with people and communities, by encouraging positive change, opportunities, fairness and growth of aspirations, which improve quality of life.
Corra’s ten-year strategy is a response to the world we live in, and to the one we want to play a part in building. It is long term because making a difference on the big challenges will take time. At its heart is the strong belief that when people find their voice, they unlock the power to make change happen.
We now need to grow our grants team and recruit additional Grant Advisors.
Grant Advisors work at the heart of Corra’s grant making. They listen and build relationships with organisations and communities to help make sure Corra does the best for the people it exists to serve. The roles can include:
- Designing and promoting new funds.
- Providing advice and support to potential applicants.
- Assessing or reviewing funding applications and monitoring reports.
- Providing capacity building support.
We are looking for people who want to make a positive difference and who bring strong skills in: resource management; financial appraisal; communication, both written and oral; relationship building and listening.
In addition to these skills, we are interested in applications from people who have a working knowledge of the voluntary sector in Scotland. An awareness of services for people affected by drug use would be beneficial; A number of funds we deliver are focused on drug support services.
Grant Advisors will usually be involved in more than one grant programme. That means a commitment to teamwork and a willingness to operate in a flexible and adaptable way is vital.

Community Worker - Digital Inclusion

At its heart, the main purpose of this role is to address both the cause and impact of digital inequality within the Gorbals by supporting individuals and communities to gain the skills, confidence and access required. This role will help bridge the digital divide by working collaboratively with third sector partners.
Crossroads Youth and Community Association’s work and values are built on the central belief that “everyone had the right to live gloriously: whatever in society prevents this, should be challenged and whatever in the individual helps should be nurtured”
This role will involve working across the community with young people, families and the wider community.
Finance Officer

The Finance Officer for the Community One Stop Shop plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient financial management of the organization. Reporting to the Board Treasurer and CEO the Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This role is essential in upholding financial transparency, compliance, and accountability within the charity.

About The Enchanted Forest:
The Enchanted Forest Community Trust (EFCT) is the charity behind Scotland’s longest-running and most successful sound and light show—an award-winning immersive experience that draws approximately 85,000 visitors each year and contributes around £10 million annually to the Highland Perthshire economy. The Trust’s purpose is to transport and delight audiences while celebrating the remarkable natural beauty of Faskally Woods and ensuring the event remains welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to all.
Now approaching its 25th anniversary, The Enchanted Forest has grown from a pioneering creative idea into one of Scotland’s most iconic cultural events. The Role of CEO:
In 2026, as EFCT celebrates its milestone 25th event and welcomes its 1,000,000th visitor, the organisation is looking to the future and seeking a visionary Chief Executive to lead its next chapter.
The new CEO will work in close partnership with the Board of Trustees to steer the long-term strategic direction of the charity, ensuring the continued success, sustainability and creative evolution of its flagship event. They will safeguard the Trust’s financial health, uphold best-practice governance, and provide strong, values-led leadership to the operations, creative, and production teams. As the public ambassador for EFCT, the CEO will build and nurture key relationships with partners, funders, local authorities, media, and the wider community—protecting the reputation of the event and amplifying its impact.
The CEO will also oversee the Trust’s community grant-giving programme, ensuring that the surplus generated by the event continues to benefit organisations across Highland Perthshire in meaningful and impactful ways. With responsibility for strategic planning, financial management, operational delivery, risk oversight and compliance, they will ensure that the Trust continues to operate transparently, ethically, and sustainably.
Candidates will bring proven senior leadership experience, ideally gained in a creative, cultural, events, charity or tourism environment. They will have successfully led organisations through development and change, managed complex operational programmes, and implemented financially sound, future-focused strategies. A strong communicator and relationship-builder, they will demonstrate high emotional intelligence, commercial acumen, and an ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams. Importantly, they will share a genuine passion for the mission, community benefit, and unique magic that The Enchanted Forest brings to Highland Perthshire every year.

The Role of a Trustee
Our Trustees play a vital role in three key areas: Strategy, Governance and Risk Management.
You’ll work with the leadership team as a critical friend — supporting, questioning, and inspiring us to stay true to our mission while continuing to innovate and grow.
Each trustee also “adopts” one of our services or projects, acting as a link between the Board and front line staff. This helps Trustees stay connected to the people and communities we serve, and brings valuable insight back to board discussions.
Trustees with specific professional experience engage in one of our four subgroups – Finance, Governance, People, Enterprise.
Right now we’re particularly keen to add to the existing financial skills of our Board, ideally welcoming someone with Management Accounting expertise, especially within SMEs or social enterprises. Someone with experience of being a charity treasurer would be highly beneficial.
That said, we’d love to hear from anyone who shares our values and brings experience in areas like fundraising, communications, enterprise, wellbeing, or facilities management.
Do I have to live in Edinburgh?
Not at all! We welcome applications from potential Trustees living anywhere. However, there is a requirement to attend an in-person Board meeting in Edinburgh once every two months. Attendance online can be arranged under special circumstances.
Our Trustees fall into two categories:
- Local Trustees: People living in South West Edinburgh, or within three miles of EH11 3RH.
- Business Trustees: People who do not live locally who join the Board to offer specific skills, expertise or professional experience.
Your Commitment
We truly value your time and experience, and we keep the commitment meaningful but manageable:
- Board meeting every two months in Edinburgh (2hrs in person)
- Sub-group meeting every three months (60-90 mins online)
- Annual General Meeting in Edinburgh (90mins in person)
- One Trustee Strategy Building Day per year (5-6hrs in person
Trustee Induction & Training
We provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme to support all trustees in their role. This includes sessions on our governance structure, key policies, finance & budgeting, health & safety, safeguarding, and an overview of our current projects and strategic priorities.
Trustees also take part in regular development sessions throughout the year.
All new trustees have the option to be buddied up with an existing trustee while they find their feet.
Remuneration/Expenses
This is an unpaid role, however reasonable expenses associated with the role may be reimbursed.
