The service
ELEV8 Young People’s Service offers support for young people who may be affected by drug or alcohol problems. This service is available to young people under 21 (and transitional age group 21-24) who live in Brent or attend schools and colleges in the borough.
The service has been supporting the young people in Brent since April 2018. We offer personalised services to meet young people’s individual need and support by facilitating a broad range of recovery orientated, high quality services.

The role
The successful candidate will work flexibly across a variety of community settings to reach out to young people, engaging with professionals to develop pathways between local services, such as A&E, Mental Health & Youth Offending. Offering bespoke interventions to young people, and providing proactive and targeted interventions to high-risk young people to support them to exit gangs and reduce/stop offending
This role plays a key part in preventing young people engaging in substance misuse and other risk-taking behaviour. As such, the successful candidate will be required to deliver a range of drug and alcohol programmes, tailored to the needs of the local communities. Innovation and partnership working are essential skills required for this role.
