Role

The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity. We are dedicated to creating a better future for fostered children and young people. We bring together everyone who is involved in their lives, leading, inspiring, motivating and supporting them to make foster care better. Together with our members and supporters we are a powerful catalyst for change, and we’ve been shaping and influencing the fostering agenda for more than 40 years.

We are seeking a project worker based in Scotland for our exciting project Moving On funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. You will work closely with foster carers and care experienced young people to create resources and raise awareness of the complexities of young people moving on.

You will have experience of working with care experienced children and young people and foster carers. You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance related to transitions experienced by care experienced young people and the impact they have on foster families.
