Thank you for your interest in the post of Fundraising Development Manager with Historic Environment Scotland, based out of any HES offices, located across Scotland. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment.
This is a new post and is pivotal in providing leadership, development and co-ordination of the approach to fundraising across HES.
Our Fundraising Development Manager needs to be able to make the connections between the causes that matter to our supporters, with our priorities and those of the sector and match these to fundraising opportunities; providing support and guidance to deliver successful outcomes.
We need someone who is collaborative in their approach to build our capacity and confidence in fundraising and enable income growth and diversification.
About us
We are a charity and lead public body for Scotland’s historic environment. We care for more than 300 properties of national importance and are the largest operator of visitor attractions in Scotland. We look after internationally significant archives and artefacts, carry out research and provide advice, support, regulation and funding to protect, conserve and manage Scotland’s heritage. We are passionate about developing skills and learning.
Our Vision
Our vision is that Scotland’s historic environment is cherished, understood, shared and enjoyed with pride by everyone.
