We have immediate availability for qualified and experienced Counsellors (contracted) and Associate Counsellors (self-employed on guaranteed hours)
Roles are for 3, 4 or in some cases 5 days per week (21 – 35 hours). Initially a 6 month fixed term contract with opportunities for permanent contracts thereafter.
Counsellor Grade 5/5a (£24,500 - £29,000) pro rata (Associate Rate £18.50 per hour) (salary placement dependent on qualifications, experience and accreditation status and Associates must be Accredited)

You must have:
- A recognised Diploma in Counselling
- A member of the BACP (or current member of a suitable equivalent registration body, and willing to become a BACP member within an agreed time frame – normally 6-12 months.
- A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
- Excellent IT skills and be comfortable with use of mobile technology
Ideally you will have:
- Experience of delivering time limited, solution focused approaches (SSW; 4:8 model)
- Demonstrable experience of working with a range of client types and presenting issues
Experience of recording comprehensive client progress and improvement data, preferably using recognised clinical / outcome focused tools (CORE, SDQ, GBO, SHANARRI etc) and processes.

Given current pandemic conditions, remote (telephone and video counselling) counselling delivery may be available short term but longer term opportunities will be on site.
