So why are we looking for a Service Manager?
Children 1st has worked in close partnership with colleagues in East Renfrewshire HSCP, Education, Health and GP practices over the past 4 years to develop and implement the Family Wellbeing Service. Together, we co-designed a service which adopts a new approach to help children affected by emotional distress, stress and anxiety and relational disconnection, and their families. Our Service Manager has been pivotal in the on-going development of the service, ensuring high quality support for children and families, supporting and developing staff, and in working with partners to evidence impact. We are delighted for her that she will be adding to her family later this year, so will be taking some time away from the service. In order to continue the development of the service, ensure high quality supports, and maintain excellent partnership relationships, we are looking for an experienced Manager to work with the team and partners.
Children 1st along with partners share a determination to act upon the recommendations from The Independent Care Review and deliver The Promise to children and young people. We are also determined that the full incorporation of the UNCRC means that children will have their rights respected in all areas of their lives and will have a real say in the way they are supported. If you share this determination, we would love to hear from you.
