Role

As part of our Skills for Rewilding traineeship programme we are looking to recruit a creative person who is passionate about Scotland’s wild places. Someone who is interested in developing digital marketing skills, that they can use to inspire people to either actively engage with the natural world, or support action to restore it so wildlife can flourish and communities can thrive.

This is an entry level traineeship, so it would be ideal for someone starting out on a career in fundraising/marketing/online communications. No qualifications are required to apply for this position. During the course of the 12-month traineeship the participant will work towards a Digital Marketing qualification supported by the Virtual Learning Academy.

Candidates should be –

Interested in rewilding and environmental conservation

Motivated and organised

Able to work independently

Good at communicating

Competent at writing

Proactive in seeking out opportunities

Flexible (happy to help with whatever needs doing)

Willing to participate in practical conservation work in potentially cold/hot, wet or midge conditions

Traineeship experience and learning

Creating social media and web site content

Understanding audiences

Writing blogs

Digital marketing metrics and analytics

Using collaborative technologies

Evaluation techniques

Design, implementation and evaluation of campaigns
