We are an SVQ Accredited Centre delivering Scottish Vocational Qualifications to the Early Learning and Childcare workforce in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. The Centre is described as “Excellent and Sector Leading“ by HM Inspectors of Education (Modern Apprenticeships).
What we are looking for
We are looking for a senior administrator to support the centre programmes, and the staff team. A key part of your role is to manage the day to day running of administrative systems for the SVQ training centre including all SQA and SSSC/MA online registrations and the administration of database information.
You should have excellent financial administration abilities, be confident and competent in using Excel spreadsheets, and databases systems, understanding the need for data protection in all aspects of the service operations. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential; you should have a relevant qualification at SCQF level 8 (for example, HND Business/Administration) or equivalent experience acquired by other means.
This post is offered as 30 hours per week and can be worked flexibly across Monday to Friday. The service works on a hybrid basis with most work carried out from home with planned schedules of office working. Microsoft Teams is used as a key communication tool.
