Clyde Valley Group’s vision is to provide high quality homes and services that make a difference to peoples’ lives and their communities. We are a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) with the Scottish Housing Regulator and charity, working across Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire. Our Group continues to grow including through building new homes and we now own around 4600 homes, provide factored services to more than 3000 owners and lettings services to 50 homes owned by private landlords. We are proud that people see us very much as a local and regional landlord and employer. We make a difference to lives and communities, including to help meet housing needs.
The Chairperson is responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of the Governing Body and ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency in all aspects of its role and to ensure that the Board properly complies with its responsibilities as required by law and regulation.
Our successful candidate will have demonstrable experience as a non- executive Board Member, and preferably experience in chairing a Board and/or Committee. You will have the skills to lead, engage and appraise Board Members and a passion for excellence. You will have experience or understand working in a regulated sector.
You will have a genuine interest and commitment to social housing, putting our customer experience at the centre of everything we do and to building inclusive communities. We particularly welcome applications from people living or working in our areas of operation.
