Would you like to work in the community supporting individuals to engage in substance misuse treatment and make changes to improve their lives?

The Service

i-access is an integrated service delivered in partnership by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and WDP.It is commissioned to provide substance misuse treatment for people aged 18 and onwards within Surrey.

This service is an established community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced drug and alcohol recovery practitioner to take on a dedicated outreach role across the county. The post holder will work closely with partners from neighbourhood policing teams, probation, housing, community safety teams and a range of other health and social care agencies to engage and re-engage service users into drug and alcohol treatment.

You will provide assertive outreach with a focus on engagement and harm reduction, including overdose prevention, across Surrey, working with the wider i-access team, to ensure seamless access to treatment interventions. The key objective of the role is to assist service users to access treatment services and to make sustained changes to improve their lives. This exciting new role will offer the successful candidate the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of our service users.

Location

The successful candidate will work peripatetically across Surrey, with an administrative base in Guildford, Chertsey or Redhill, this will be agreed at point of offer however preferences can be shared at interview stage.
