• Are you committed keeping The Promise and passionate about making a difference for children and families?
• Do you have proven experience in working with family support services within the voluntary or public sector?
• Can you influence policy and lead coalitions, partnerships and funding to deliver better outcomes for families?
Home-Start worked closely with the Independent Care Review (ICR) to help parents share their experiences of care and Scotland’s care ‘system’ and, over the past 18 months, with The Promise on how we can all deliver the change needed. Read about Plan 21-24 and Change Programme ONE from The Promise here.
We work alongside families across Scotland, in their homes and in the community, to help ensure everyone has support when they need it most. Through our trained volunteers and hundreds of committed staff, we can offer a range of support to meet the needs of each family and ensure that all our children can have the best start.
Thanks to funding support from The Promise Partnership, we are now seeking a passionate and committed individual who understands The Promise to help us shape our programme of change, provide insight & challenge and develop the relationships we need to help us play our part. We recognise the long-term nature of this work, however we also believe there is no need to wait to make the change needed.
