Role

Who are we?

At Key we support people living in their own home, in their family home or in their community. We start by seeing the person first. The support we offer can range from just a few hours a week, a few hours a day to 24-hour support, including overnights.

Could you be Key?

Are you passionate about the positive differences and opportunities Self Directed Support can bring to each person’s individual journey?

Are you a highly motivated, confident, enthusiastic and experienced health or social care worker, looking for an exciting and challenging personal development opportunity?

Can you work creatively and flexibly in your day-to-day work to provide positive leadership and support to your team effectively?

If the answer is YES… then you could be Key!

What we offer you…

In return you will be part of a supportive, local team and will receive:

  • 38 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays
  • Public holidays are paid at double time
  • Company sick pay
  • Full training provided
  • Support and funding to achieve an SVQ 3; PDA in Supervision and other professional development awards.
  • Paid PVG Membership
  • Eligible to apply for Blue Light Card/Blue Light Ticket Schemes offering discounts and savings
  • Registered with Concert for Carers
  • Eligible to register for a Costco Membership
  • Credit Union Membership
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Pension Contributions

Accommodation can also be provided (initially for 6 months).

What do we need from you?

In addition to providing direct support to individuals, some of whom may have complex needs, the main responsibilities of the Team Manager role include helping to plan, co-ordinate and monitor service delivery to individuals and to provide support, supervision and leadership to a small group of Support Workers.

Applicants must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support. Evening, weekend work and overnight support responsibilities are required as well as some support to workers out with ‘normal working hours’.
