Role

We are looking for enthusiastic people who share our values (Kind, Passionate and Creative) to join our services accommodating and supporting people experiencing homelessness and empowering them to thrive.

The support we provide is always person-centred, trauma-informed and wellbeing focused. As Service Manager, you will you will be responsible for providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people within your service. You will manage and lead a team delivering quality housing support/accommodation and housing management service and to support people with multi-complex needs/homeless in crisis (and/or previously looked after or accommodated young people) to build their skills and confidence to sustain their own tenancy.

You will already be a registered manager with the Scottish Social Services Council, hold a minimum of SCQF Level 7 in Social Care and have experience of managing and motivating a team.

This is a temporary post until 31/03/24. The services manager would be responsible for the effective delivery of supported accommodation services for 18 supported persons across two sites: Bonhill and Alexandria.

The Bonhill service supports 8 people within separate rooms in a repurposed row of local authority homes and offers people support to prepare for their own tenancies; the service accepts referrals only from West Dunbartonshire homelessness teams and our age range is from 16 upwards.

The Alexandria Service supports 10 people in shared accommodation in a low-rise block of ex local authority flats and offers people support to prepare for their own tenancies; the service accepts referrals only from West Dunbartonshire homelessness teams and our age range is from 16 upwards
